Ceramic Make & Take with Fermie Studios

Stop by and make a ceramic Valentine during this Saturday’s festivities at West Acres! Tara with Fermie Studios will be set up with a variety of clay shapes and tools for you to use to make your very own customized ceramic Valentine. You can be as sweet or snarky as you like! The cool thing about clay is that it is very receptive to any texture while soft, you can even press your fingerprints into the clay and they will remain on the finished piece. Press your fingerprints in the clay to make to make a ‘fingerprint heart’, you can also do this with your partner, friend, or family member’s fingerprint.

You can choose between a red or black inlay that will be added after the first firing, these will then be clear glazed and fired to a glossy finish. The ceramic Valentines are fun on their own but once you have them at home feel free to glue a magnet to the back or tie a ribbon on to hang as a decoration.
