October 19 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
$20Come enjoy a full-length concert event featuring original songs composed by the legendary multi-Grammy award-winning and Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee Carole King. The music in this year’s repertoire spans from her early songwriting days in the late 1960’s through her eighth studio album, “Simple Things”, which was released in 1977.
Nearly two dozen tunes in a 90-minute set will be presented by the Raspberry Jam Band, whose current members include: Pat Lenertz (guitar, vocals), Kari Marie (piano, vocals), Jake Schaefbauer (guitar, vocals), Bill Mohn (drums), Kris Ottem (bass), and guest vocalist Gina Powers. Other special guests include “Dakota” Kate Henne (fiddle, mandolin, harmonica, vocals) and McKenna Bakko (percussion).
This will mark the sixth presentation of the Raspberry Jam tribute show and the first year at TAK Music Venue, having been previously held at the former HoDo Lounge and Concordia College.
