Whiskey Class – American Whiskey

America has a long and proud history of whiskey production. From the very beginning settlers to the new world came together to make a beautiful spirit, and in doing so left their old national differences behind. American Whiskey is an official category that is wide reaching and less limiting than the Bourbon designation. Expect some familiar profiles but usually wrapped up in a unique mash bill, barrel aging, yeast selection, or whatever creative twist the distiller had in mind. Looking forward to another great class!
