Mark Peihl presents Algona Branch Camp #1- Learn about a local German POW camp with a historian

Join the Moorhead Public Library for an informative historical presentation by Mark Peihl of the Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County. During World War II, scores of German prisoners of war worked in local agriculture as part of their time at Algona Branch Camp #1. Mark will bring to life an oft-forgotten part of local history in this presentation. All are welcome, and this program is offered free of charge.
