Junkyard Brewing West Fargo announces October 25th opening

Junkyard Brewing West Fargo has announced its opening day will be Wednesday, October 25th from 4 pm to 10 pm. They invite the community to join them in celebrating this much-anticipated day.

Junkyard Brewing says their West Fargo location‘s taps will flow with a diverse selection of craft beers, featuring offerings from Junkyard Brewing in Moorhead and creations from Icewind Brewing, Drastic Measures Brewing, and Portage Brewing. These taps will rotate regularly and feature other craft breweries.

“At Junkyard Brewing West Fargo, our ultimate goal is to become an integral part of the West Fargo community,” says owner Michelle Juhnke. “We aim to create an environment where all are welcome. You can come as you are, meet new and old friends, and create lasting memories and friendships. Our plans include working with local nonprofits, food vendors, and various businesses to foster community togetherness.”

Junkyard Brewing says they put months of preparation into the space to make it look and feel like a comfortable and enjoyable place to gather. It features two patios, three bars, and lots of comfortable seating. Their 1970s building has now been transformed from a bank to a taproom. The vault door and bank plaque remain to show the history of the structure.

“The City of West Fargo is excited to welcome Junkyard Brewing into our downtown. I want to personally congratulate the team at Junkyard Brewing on bringing this locally owned business to West Fargo and completing an extensive renovation,” said City of West Fargo Economic Development Manager Casey Sanders-Berglund. “The anticipation to learn when Junkyard will open its doors has been in the air as we watched this older building receive a new life with paint, patios, and more.”
