Drifting the Plains
Drifting The Plains (DTP) events are our grassroots drift weekends open to drivers of all skill levels, from newbies to veterans. There are up to 3 days of drifting available to drivers that purchase a weekend pass.

DTP 3 is also the third round of four for the Fargo Drifting Open points series! Fargo Drifting is awarding cash prizes to the top 5 drivers in points at the end of the 4 round series. Tandem competition is held during the Saturday of each DTP event.

New for 2023, we will be holding the Limited Tandem Series competition on Sunday of each DTP event. This new tandem series has rules limiting tire size and horsepower modifications.

Admission and Registration
The previous Drifting the Plains events often sell out of driver slots and registration prices go up as the event draws closer, so buy early!
- Driver pre-registration: Click Here
- Camping is included with all driver and spectator passes. You can drive in Friday night to set up camp.
- Electrical hookups available, paid at the gate.
Schedule
All drivers meetings are mandatory. If you miss the drivers meeting you will have to wait until the next one, which will be held every hour for those that can’t make it on time.
Friday August 11th (Bonus day for drivers with a weekend pass)
8AM – Gates open
9AM – Tech opens
11:30AM – Drivers meeting
12:30PM – Track is hot
7PM – Track is cold
Saturday August 12th
8AM – Gates open
8AM – Drivers meeting
9AM – Track is hot/Practice begins
1PM – Competition begins (Open Series)
7PM – Track is cold
Sunday August 13th
8AM – Gates open
8:30AM – Drivers meeting
9AM – Track is hot
11AM – Competition begins (Limited Series)
5PM – Track is cold
