The Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County will host Brian Cole to give a talk on his new book about the history of Moorhead public schools on Tuesday, Sept. 26, at 6:30 p.m. at the Hjemkomst Center.
Over 300 pages, Once a Spud, Always a Spud commemorates the 150th anniversary of the Moorhead public school district with many photos, statistics, and anecdotes. Cole, a Moorhead orchestra teacher, has been researching the subject over the last five years. All books must be preordered by Oct. 1 from the Moorhead Legacy Foundation for $60.
