Puddles the Clown is returning to The Fargo Theatre, bringing Puddles Pity Party to the stage on Monday, November 6, 2023. Tickets for the show go on sale on Friday, July 14th.

Puddles, a 7-foot tall sad clown, has a “golden” voice that rivals the likes of rock icons such as Tom Jones and Freddie Mercury. With a following of nearly 900K on YouTube and sold-out performances around the world, including The Kennedy Center in D.C., San Francisco’s Palace of Fine Arts, London’s Soho Theatre, and a residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Puddles Pity Party has garnered immense popularity.

You might be familiar with him from his appearances as a quarter-finalist on Season 12 of America’s Got Talent and the 2020 season of AGT The Champions. He has also collaborated on viral videos with Postmodern Jukebox. Puddles has gained recognition for his unique blend of melancholy and absurdity, receiving praise from musical comedy icons such as Eric Idle, Jack Black, Paul Reubens, Michael McKean, Drew Carey, and Weird Al Yankovic.

In 2022, Puddles had an exciting year filled with several notable achievements. He made a guest appearance on the fourth season finale of ABC’s The Conners and sang a duet with the legendary Eric Idle on “Homeward Bound: A GRAMMY Salute to the Songs of Paul Simon,” which was recorded for CBS. Puddles was also selected for the highly coveted John Lewis Holiday advert in the UK, where he covered “All the Small Things.” He went on three separate tours, one with Piff the Magic Dragon, another with Tenacious D, and a third featuring Dave Hill, which included a special guest appearance by Leslie Jordan during his final live on-stage performance. Additionally, Puddles had the opportunity to perform as a featured artist on the Virgin Voyages cruise line, touring the Mediterranean for four weeks. Most recently, he made an appearance at the 2023 JoCo Cruise.

Despite the pandemic causing tour cancellations, the performer known for his unique blend of “Pagliacci by way of Pee-Wee Herman and David Lynch” remained productive. He created 14 episodes of his stream show, “Still Sequestered”, which featured a diversified list of esteemed guests, including Penn Jillette, Michael Stipe, Weird Al, Michael Des Barres, Cait O’Riordan, Neil Hamburger, David Dastmalchian, Mastodon, Jack Black, Tim Heidecker, Steve Agee, Mark Ryden, and more. Additionally, he developed his own coffee blend in partnership with Batdorf & Bronson, recorded a new album titled “Songs That Got Me Through the Plague”, and released the first issue of his satirical “Puddles Pity Party Informational Magazine”.
