Stilt walkers, jugglers, dancers, and more can all be discovered at Folkways’ signature event, Night Bazaar. The fourth event in this monthly series highlights the community’s talents with a plethora of unique experiences, vendors, and performances in downtown Fargo at Broadway Square.
The upcoming Bazaar will feature over 40 local artisans, makers, and vintage shops. This month’s night market will welcome local skateboarders to the event with a miniature mobile skate park on the west side of Broadway Square. A selection of local skateboarders will be showcasing their talents on the ramps. Fargo Hawk’s Nest co-founder Ryan Turner is “beyond excited to be a part of the Night Bazaar and share our love of skateboarding with the FM community.”
Music by Minneapolis DJ NuAge Knight will be punctuated with performances by local movement talents. Among them will be All-Star Afro Dance Group, a youth group dancing to African-inspired beats, local hip-hop dance group The Krownz, and Fargo Flow, a collective of individuals who dance with various props. Later in the evening, entertainer Kati Rose Hicks will perform an aerial, juggling, and hooping routine.
