The Church Basement Ladies Musical To Play Fargo Theatre In April

Promoter Jade Presents has announced the original production of The Church Basement Ladies will play the Fargo Theatre on April 8, 2022. Tickets go on sale on Friday, December 17.

20 years ago, authors/humorists Janet Letnes Martin and Suzann Nelson, the creators of the best-selling book, “Growing up Lutheran”, joined forces with Troupe America Inc to turn their material into a new musical comedy. The idea was to celebrate the women who work so hard and with such dedication in their church kitchens. They are our mothers, grandmothers, neighbors etc., – these  “Steel Magnolias” of the kitchen, who are the backbone of every denomination of every church in the land. Just ask the Pastors!

The Church Basement Ladies opened in Minneapolis and immediately became a huge hit running for two and a half years. Since then, there have been seven sequels and productions in every state and Canada, but this is the original. The show that started it all. Funny and down to earth with wonderful hummable music and original cast members.
