Most of the workshops will take place in the Center for Creativity building which is connected to the museum through a skywalk on the 2nd floor. There are workshops that will appeal to young children, teens and adults.
Here are a few of our favorites:

At 1:00 pm in the Center for Creativity Studio 1, Crooked Lane Farm will lead a Mini Barn Quilts workshop. Barn quilts are painted, bold public art that celebrates farm and family life. They can be found on barns and buildings and offer a splash of color to any yard. The event is free for teens and adults and barn quilt kits will be available for sale during the workshop.
Try your hand at Woodcut Printmaking in the 3rd-floor main museum building near booth 33 at 2:00 pm. Learn the basics of carving, inking and printing with woodcuts. All materials to make a small, 2 inch x 2 inch print are included for this free workshop!
