It’s that time of year again for you to shiver with antici….. pation! Get ready to do the Time Warp for the Fargo Theatre’s annual screening of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.” As always, there will be a costume contest at 10:45pm so be sure to show up in your finest fishnets or lab coat for a chance to win prizes. Props and participation are not only allowed, but encouraged! There will be a limited number of prop bags sold at the door, but if you bring your own, please refrain from bringing rice, lighters, hot dogs or confetti.
D Mills & The Thrills Halloween Bash

Halloween Dance Fiesta

This salsa and bachata session will feature a special guest instructor from Minneapolis. The Bailame Dance Festival 2019 crew featuring Shun Harris (king of hand tosses) will be teaching and DJing! 8pm Bachata lesson, 9:15pm dance social with bachata and salsa (no experience required), and a costume contest with giveaways.
Masquerade Reception for The Art Ghoullery at the Rourke

The Art Ghoullery is on display from October 4 through November 2 from 1 to 5pm on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays and by appointment on Wednesdays and Thursdays, with a special Masquerade Reception hosted by The Rourke Art Gallery + Museum on Friday, October 25 from 6:30pm until 8pm that eve. Attendees to the Masquerade Reception and encouraged to don masks and wear costumes during the evening’s revelry, though disguise is not a necessary key to entry.

Trick or Treat Wish Walk
Downtown Fargo | 10am-3pm
Enjoy an afternoon of Trick-or-Treating in historic Downtown Fargo while making wishes come true! The Downtown Community Partnership (DCP) is teaming up with Make-A-Wish® North Dakota for the Trick-or-Treat Wish Walk! Each participating Downtown business will have candy to distribute to trick-or-treaters donated by Sam’s Club. Start the walk at Creative Plains Foundation located at 720 1st Ave N Fargo, ND 58102. Participation is $5 per participant and they will be given a reusable Downtown Fargo candy bag and a map of all the participating businesses. All of the proceeds from the event will be donated to Make-A-Wish® North Dakota to further their mission of fulfilling life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses.

Call up the homies and make plans to attend the first ever Halloween House Party at Junkyard Brewing Company, featuring costume contests, beer pong, tippy cup, and silent spooky movie clips! Join High Plains Reader, Fargo Underground, and the Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County for a Halloween party like no other — you know, because you’ll be dancing around a Viking ship! Hot Lunch takes the stage at 6pm on the Hjemkomst Ship Gallery’s observation deck, and the Jessica Vines Band follows at 7pm. Classic horror movies will be screened on the Hjemkomst sail, a carnival midway takes shape from HCSCC and Games to Go, and local “spooky-movie” legend Madd Frank Presents will be on-hand for a meet-n-greet and photos. Appetizers are included and a cash wine & beer bar will be available.
