Kevin Smith is bringing his Jay & Silent Bob Reboot Roadshow to the Fargo Theatre on January 30, 2020.
The New Jersey stoner icons who first hit the screen 25 years ago in Clerks are back. When Jay and Silent Bob discover that Hollywood is rebooting an old movie based on them, the clueless duo embark on another cross-country mission to stop it all over again!
Kevin Smith’s first movie, 1994’s Clerks, was filmed in the convenience store in which Smith worked. He filmed at night after the store was closed. The movie would go on to win the Sundance Film Festival’s highest award.
With the success of Clerks, Smith went on to direct a series of films including Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma and Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back. His films have developed a cult following and his characters Jay (played by Jason Mewes) and Silent Bob (played by Smith) have become cultural icons.
