This summer, through a collaboration with Forum Communications and Kilbourne Group, Red River Market will move to a new location at 63 5th Street N. The new venue, just south of Forum headquarters will host the weekly farmers’ market and adjacent plaza space. The new venue will provide easy access to transportation and parking while remaining in the heart of downtown Fargo.
Those who enjoyed spending Saturdays listening to live music on the grassy turf can rest assured. Market staff will be moving the entire plaza, stage, seating, turf, and planters to the new location. New murals will be added to the storage container already onsite. “We were very lucky to have been able to spend three seasons at the Broadway Garage, but we have always known that location would be temporary,” said Market Organizer, Simone Wai. “We are thrilled to be able to host the market in a different area of downtown.”
