Mosaic Foods to sell Mezzaluna Restaurant to Snelling Hospitality

Eric & Sara Watson, owners of Mosaic Foods, announced the sale of Mezzaluna Restaurant to Snelling Hospitality, owned by Taylor Snelling. Restaurant regulars already know Taylor well from his current role as the restaurant manager.

“We are so happy to announce the sale of Mezzaluna to Taylor Snelling. Taylor started as a mixologist and worked his way up to management. Taylor has brought new visions, customer service skills and wine knowledge to the restaurant. His expertise & customer driven skills will continue to propel Mezzaluna as a leader in the dining scene in the Fargo-Moorhead community,” says Sarah Watson, currently the business manager for the restaurant.

The popular downtown Fargo restaurant features casual, fine dining and is located in the 1917 Smith, Follett & Crowl building at 309 Roberts Street, just across Robert’s Alley from the historic Fargo Theatre. The building’s unique architecture, including street views into the kitchen, creates a truly one-of-a-kind dining experience.

“We feel confident knowing that Mezzaluna will be in good hands.  Taylor has worked his way up through the ranks and has acquired the respect of the staff along the way.  Taylor has become the new face of Mezzaluna and he will continue to provide the same great food and service that we have been known for,” says Eric Watson, who opened the restaurant and made it one of Fargo’s premiere dining destinations.

Over the last decade the restaurant’s team has won many awards and made the restaurant a favorite of both locals and visitors. Taylor has been a part of that team and has taken an active role in maintaining the excellent service diners have come to expect.

“I am beyond excited to be furthering my career in the hospitality industry in the Fargo-Moorhead community at Mezzaluna,” said Taylor. “A huge thank you to Eric and Sara for this unbelievable opportunity to build upon and grow the Mezzaluna name and reputation. We are grateful to have the support from our dedicated staff and Joseph Brunner, our executive chef. We hope everyone feels the passion we will continue to put into our food, service, and atmosphere.”

The Watsons also own and operate Moorhead’s Rustica Eatery & Tavern.
