Plains Art Museum Launches 2019 Buzz Lab Internship Program

Plains Art Museum announces the sixth annual Buzz Lab teen internship program, taking place throughout summer 2019. The Buzz Lab internship is for teens ages 12-18 who are interested in the arts, leadership, and the environment, and who want to make a positive impact on their community.

Buzz Lab interns commit to eight days of learning and collaboration at Plains Art Museum and are paid for their time. Interns work with artists and scientists to learn and discuss the importance of pollinators, create original works of art, share their art and knowledge with our community. This year interns will collaboratively construct a float for the September 29 Canoe Parade on the Red River. Interns also develop and maintain the Pollinator Garden at Plains Art Museum.

Applications are due by 5:00 pm on Thursday, March 21 and can be picked up at the front desk of Plains Art Museum, or accessed online at https://plainsart.org/buzz-lab-5-0-teen-intership/. There will be an application workshop on Saturday, March 16, 1:00 – 3:00 pm in the Plains Art Museum Presentation Center.
