New Year’s Eve Events in Downtown Fargo

Downtown Fargo is the place to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Fargo and Moorhead. We’ve put together a list of highlight events to ring in 2017:

Balls Drop: a Blue Years Revolution at Drekker Brewing Company

Rip into 2017 with a burlesque ball drop with Blue Belle’s Burlesque! Be prepared for hilarity, pole artistry, fire performance and striptease at Drekker Brewing Company! Hosted by Funniest Person in the Twin Cities (Acme) Will Spottedbear!

General admission is $15. VIP is available and catered to your crowd! Email us at [email protected] to have your reservations set up for you! All tickets include one free Drekker brew as well as seats to the funniest and hottest New Year’s Eve in the area!

F*ck 2016 New Year’s Dance Party at The Aquarium

We can all agree the last twelve months have been pretty rough, and nothing says “good riddance” quite like a dance party. Bring all your friends. It’s free.

Hosted by DJs Beavage and Cleavage, doors open at 9 p.m and the music kicks off at 10 p.m. This 21+ event features songs by Bowie, Prince and George Michael, and we’ll slow dance to Cohen. Additionally, DJs Beavage and Cleavage will play some of the hottest R&B, hip-hop and other quality tunes made to make you move.

Best of the Worst Music Videos New Years Eve Party at Junkyard Brewing Company

Join Junkyard Brewing in the taproom this year for our first ever Best of the Worst Music Videos New Year’s Eve Party! We’ll feature some of our favorite awful, oddball, and downright ridiculous music videos of all time. If you have suggestions, make sure to post them here or message us. Your suggestions just might make the list!

After the music videos, we’ll ring in 2017 with the 3rd Annual Keg Drop, accompanied by a swat of the keg with our brewery’s mash paddle. The taproom will stay open until 1am to pour you your first pint of 2017. Junkyard’s delicious beer will make for a great new year!

V.I.P. New Year’s Eve Comedy at Usher’s House

Come say goodbye to 2016 and hello to 2017 by enjoying the stand-up comedy stylings of local favorites Adam Quesnell and JD Provorse!

You have two show times to choose: The 7:30 show ($30) includes a chef-selected hors d’oeuvres buffet featuring grilled pork shanks, barbecue meatballs, and spinach-artichoke dip with garlic crostini and assorted fresh veggies served before and during the show, with a cash bar in the room! The 10:00 show ($20) has no buffet, but your first drink from the bar is on Usher’s House!

New Queers Eve: Celebration and RENT at Pride Collective and Community Center

Come and celebrate the near year as we gather to share our us and downs of such a roller coaster that 2016 was, and enjoy a classic LGBT film: RENT. A discussion will follow after the movie as well!

Vintage New Year’s Eve at Front Street Taproom

Let’s usher in the New Year by celebrating the past with a Vintage New Years Eve party at Front Street Taproom. The Disc Jockeys from VINYL GIANT will be on stage all night spinning the best records from the past 10 decades. We’ll be offering free snacks and party favors along with $2 Hamm’s and Grain Belt pounders.

Brush the dust off of your favorite vintage outfit for a throwback night of celebration, conversation, inebriation, and all around good times!
