Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity seeks volunteers for the first of four homes projects in 2016

A home that was donated by a local woman to be renovated

Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity is seeking individuals and groups to volunteer to help renovate a Moorhead home. Starting on Friday April 15th, volunteers will assist in projects including demolition, installing windows/doors, siding, flooring, yardwork and drywall. This home will be the 53rd home completed in Cass/clay counties.

The partner family of 4 will move in this summer after completing their required 500 hours of sweat equity. They will pay back the cost of construction through a 0% mortgage. Those payments will help build future Habitat homes.

No construction experience necessary for volunteers but they must be over 16 to be on site and over 18 to run power tools or be on ladders. Lunch providers are also welcome.
