Experience downtown Fargo like never before at the Night Bazaar. Community building organization and creators of the Red River Market, Folkways, is transforming the new Pop Up Plaza at 63 5th Street N into an evening of live entertainment and shopping. The event marks the grand opening of the new Folkways venue since moving from the Broadway Garage on 4th Avenue N. This is Folkways’ second season of Night Bazaar events since 2018.
The event is focused on highlighting the community with a plethora of unique experiences. Visitors can get a henna tattoo or a tarot card reading, try drawing sessions with Draw Club, or see a glass art demonstration by Kirby Berg.
Like the evening bazaars of southeast Asia, visitors can shop for art, trinkets, crystals and handmade goods from local artisans. Street food will be available from food vendors including the new Suna’s Egyptian Eatery food truck.
The live music lineup includes notable area bands, Gina Powers and Mitch Rittenbach, Jack Winders, Significant Others, and The Vistas. Musical performances will be punctuated with live performances by Red River Dance and a yo-yo performance by John Narum. Visitors can enjoy a local brew or glass of wine from Front Street Taproom.
This event is free, family friendly, and dog friendly. More information including a list of vendors and parking information can be found at www.folkways.co/nightbazaar.
