Fargo’s Downtown Library Building Celebrates 10th Anniversary April 29

Area residents are invited to a community celebration event to mark the Main Library building’s 10th anniversary on Monday, April 29, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the downtown Main Library (102 3rd St. N.). A short presentation by Mayor Tim Mahoney and Library Director Tim Dirks is scheduled for 5 p.m. Refreshments and live music featuring the Dave Ferreira Trio will be part of the festivities. This event is free and open to the public.

Tim Dirks said, “This community celebration is a way to say ‘thank you’ to all of the residents in our community for supporting the library and for supporting the expansion of library services over the past decade.”

This event is part of the Main Library building’s 10th anniversary celebration series of events and is sponsored by the Friends of the Fargo Public Library.
