The Fargo Park District is bringing holiday cheer downtown as the forestry and maintenance teams begin the installation of the ice-skating rink and 32-foot interactive Christmas tree at Broadway Square on Monday, November 14.
The eco-friendly artificial tree is expected to be completely assembled by the end of the day on November 15 and Broadway Square will hold an official Tree Lighting event on November 22. The ice-skating rink will continue installation through the rest of this week with an anticipated opening the night of the Tree Lighting event. The rink installation and opening are weather dependent. More fun events are scheduled to come to the Square throughout the winter including daily skating, Holiday Express, Rink Reels, and more.
