Space is limited\, so make your plans to reserve your spots for this unique dining event! \nMenu & beer pairings to be released soon! \nAbout the food: \nChef Paul Nimens grew up in the Crookston / East Grand Forks\, MN area. He and his wife\, Nicole\, ventured out the west coast for Paul to attend culinary school\, where he spent a decade working in various kitchens (including a Michelan Star restaurant) and gaining respect in the Oregon/Washington food world\, even earning a James Beard nomination for his culinary expertise. \nWhen the Nimen family grew\, they decided to move back to their roots and came back to the Fargo area in 2021. Chef Paul worked in several local restaurants\, such as 701 Eateries\, Rosewild & Spaghetti Western\, before deciding to pursue his dream of having his own food truck. The result was Duck Duck Goose\, a family run food truck which formed in 2024 and serves up delicious comforting classics with a twist! \nAbout the beer: \nHomebrewers\, Rick Brandvold and Tyler Mangin met through the local homebrew club and worked together at Flatland Brewery in West Fargo\, ND. Both were competitive \, award-winning homebrewers who loved board games. \nThey went on to open Icewind Brewing in 2020 during the peak COVID and have been a fixture in Mapleton\, ND ever since. They take pride in a diverse offering of classic and experimental beer styles and hard seltzer… and an impressive library of board games in the taproom.
