DESCRIPTION:Valley RC Flyers is pleased to announce that the 2024 Fargo Indoor Fun-Fly will take place on Saturday\, March 16th\, from 10 am to 5 pm at Tri-City United’s indoor soccer bubble (2761 12th Ave S\, Fargo\, ND 58103). This year’s event promises to be Fargo’s largest indoor flying event for remote-controlled aircraft. The event will feature dozens of young and old pilots from around the region who will showcase their aircraft and skills. \nThe Fargo Indoor Fun-Fly will feature a variety of fun\, skills-based demonstrations throughout the day. There will also be opportunities for beginning or interested pilots to test their skills with virtual simulators. This is an excellent opportunity for those interested in remote-controlled aircraft to get involved in the hobby and learn more from the broad community of pilots in the region. \nIndoor flying has grown tremendously in popularity in the Fargo area. Local RC pilots patiently wait for long winters to yield in anticipation of more excellent weather to fly larger aircraft at the club field north of Moorhead\, MN. Various aircraft will be piloted during this indoor event\, anes\, helicopters\, and drones\, will be piloted. \nValley RC Flyers is a group of RC aviation enthusiasts who are dedicated to promoting the hobby of remote-controlled aviation in the Fargo-Moorhead area. The club is a non-profit organization that welcomes anyone who shares their passion for RC aviation\, regardless of skill level or experience. \n“We’re thrilled to be hosting Fargo’s largest indoor flying event\,” said Joe Heilman\, a Valley RC Flyers Board Member. “This is a great opportunity for pilots of all skill levels to come together and share their love of RC aviation with the community.” \nFor more information about the event and the club\, please visit www.ValleyRCFlyers.net. During his 34 years\, the Hotline TNT founder and architect has found such love perhaps half-a-dozen times. Each instance has prompted some enormous swing of commitment\, like a cross-country move or simply being honest about his budding attraction. It is a hopeful and vulnerable way to exist\, a way to ensure maximum bruising during the fall of the breakup. And so far for Anderson\, that is how it has always ended\, whether the air has slowly seeped out of some once-full balloon or whether it has simply popped\, those expanded feelings expelled in an instant. This tension is the brain\, blood\, and beating heart of Cartwheel\, the byproduct of Anderson’s decades-long quest to pin down the surging sound long in his head. But borne of real hurt and continued hope\, lit by the flickering belief that just maybe things will sort themselves out\, Cartwheel transcends those scene associations to become something greater—a classic encapsulation of youthful ardor\, fading into adulthood’s grim acceptance. It is a beautiful\, radical\, and engrossing record about trying to find what most of us have not yet attained: fulfillment. Anderson plays and sings nearly every note on Cartwheel himself. He recorded the bulk of these songs during two very different sessions: one with prolific art-pop-punk auteur Ian Teeple (Silicone Prairie)\, who pushed him to keep working on every idea\, and one with bicoastal engineer Aron Kobayashi Rich (Momma)\, who encouraged him to get ideas down and keep moving forward. But Cartwheel itself is seamless\, with notions of bedroom studio largesse and punk simplicity perfectly coiled inside Anderson’s catastrophic visions of true love.
