While wine regions like Napa Valley and Sonoma tend to get a lot of love when it comes to California wine, there is a lot of unique and interesting winemaking going in other parts of the North Coast. In particular, Mendocino County, located along the coast just north of Sonoma has begun to build a reputation for quality wines made from well-recognized varietals like Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, but also lesser known Italian varietals as well. The region is also known for a dedication to organic and dry-farming, which sets it apart from some of its neighboring regions. Whether you have tasted Mendocino wines in the past and have become a fan, or just want to learn more about the region and some of the great selections that are offered, sign up to learn more about this exciting up and coming Californian region!
