Whiskey Class – Wheat

May 21 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Taste and learn about whiskey that use wheat in their mash-bills with Evan Christie.

While corn and rye take a starring role in American Whiskey, wheat is known mostly as a supporting player. Though straight wheat whiskies do exist, they are a rarity. Yet through its supporting role, wheat has paradoxically become a star. Bourbons with wheat as a secondary grain are among the most sought-after bottles on the market. Consumers have shown a clear love for the softer, fruitier notes wheat can bring to a bottle of whiskey.

In this class, Evan Christie will explore the role of wheat in whiskey, and you will sample bottles that showcase the qualities of this grain. Expect to explore spirits both familiar and less-so that take advantage of the properties of wheat to craft exceptional whiskies. Join us for a celebration of this wholesome grain that can do so much more than make bread.

Must be 21+ to attend.
