Whiskey Class – Top Shelf Whiskey

August 26, 2023 @ 1:00 pm - 2:15 pm
Taste and learn about top shelf whiskey – whiskey placed at a premium due to price, age, rarity, or uniqueness. – with Evan Christie.

The top shelf is a place of pride – a location only for superlative objects, objects worthy of venerated display and admiration. But unlike a prized curio or antique, a top shelf whiskey – to truly be worthy of that name – cannot remain forever upon its pedestal. Whiskey, even top shelf whiskey is meant to be shared – with enthusiasts and epicures, friends and foes, or by anyone who can appreciate a good dram. In this class, sharing from the top shelf is precisely what we mean to do.

Spirits expert Evan Christie will help make the world of top shelf whiskey a little bit more accessible. You will taste examples in every major style of whiskey that qualify for the top shelf based on price, rarity, age, uniqueness, or often a combination of all of these factors. Expect each whiskey to be beautifully matured and crafted in an uncompromising fashion. Tickets are at a premium price compared to our normal classes, but this ensures we can taste truly exceptional bottles, giving you the chance to experience whiskies you might not otherwise purchase. Join us as we kick off our fall classes with this big, bold, top shelf experience.

Must be 21+ to attend.
