Whiskey Class – Minnesota Whiskey

May 22 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Taste and learn about the latest and greatest in Minnesota Whiskey with Evan Christie.

After prohibition ended, the decimated American whiskey industry rebuilt but not evenly across the country – the hub of bourbon, Kentucky, became the hub for all American whiskey distilling. As the craft spirits revolution took hold in the early 2000s, this all began to change. Today, one can find numerous whiskey distilleries in each of the 50 states, so the connoisseur no longer needs to go far from home to find an excellent tipple. Why, they may indeed imbibe from their home state.

In this class, Evan Christie will showcase some of the best whiskies Minnesota has to offer. Expect new offerings from established distillers and brands we may not have featured before. You will taste whiskies from many different categories Minnesota distillers produce including bourbon, rye, and single malt. Some whiskies will feature innovative ingredients and techniques, and some will make extensive use of local materials including grains and barres. Come see what Minnesota whiskey distillers can do!

Must be 21+ to attend.
