Scarecrows in the Garden

The Northern Plains Botanic Garden Society will host their third annual Scarecrows in the Garden fundraising event on Saturday, September 16th, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., at the Northern Plains Botanic Garden and Greenhouse (1211 28th Ave N, Fargo).

Event proceeds will be used for the Japanese Garden at the Northern Plains Botanic Garden.

Unique Scarecrows crafted by donors will be on display and for sale in the botanic garden. A Fall Market will feature autumn-crafted wares, fall décor, botanic items, houseplants, herbs, jams, preserves, and baked goods.

There will be a Kids’ Mini Cake Walk, Kids’ Scavenger Hunt, and additional kids’ activities, and pumpkins will be for sale. Families are invited to explore the Children’s Garden and take family portraits using the sunflower face boards.
