History Night: Illustrating WWII features guest speaker Scott Nelson, a North Dakota artist that turns veteran aviators’ stories into watercolor and oil paintings. Veterans actively contribute to the process, ensuring accuracy, and authenticate the finished pieces by signing them.
Nelson will discuss his work, including ties to notable World War II veterans like Buck Cleven, featured in the new Apple+ TV show, Masters of the Air.
