Fargo PopExpo 2023

The Fargo PopExpo 2023 returns Saturday, April 22 thru April 23 at the Butler Arena, RRV Fairgrounds in West Fargo. Admission is only $10-Adults, $8 for Discounted (Teen 13-17, Students/Educators, Veterans, Seniors, First Responder, Health-Fire-Police), and $5-Kids (6-12). Kids under five are free! Family pack for two adults and up to 4 (under 18): $25! The most affordable event for all ages in the area! Hours will be 10 am-5 pm Saturday and 10 am-4 pm Sunday!

Fargo Moorhead Comic-Con is in its’ lucky 13th year and has grown so much that more room was needed. Still, there was also a desire to bring a more broad-interest pop culture event to the area, so we took the basic regions of other events, Motorheads and More and Crafty Diversions, to make one significant event: The Fargo PopExpo!

The FPE will highlight something of interest to all and grow in the coming years, so let us know what we can try to feature! As a non-profit, we strive to bring a significant fun event for a widely diverse audience and make it affordable for all. We will also highlight some important fundraising events during the FPE to raise funds for charity, both charities close to our guests and participants. Our long-standing charities benefit significantly from the Sanford Children’s Hospital. Our parent organization, Red River Science Fiction & Fantasy, which is the main sponsor of VALLEYCON (annual 47 coming this fall!) and Moorhead Community Access TV & Media-MCAM (501 c-3 MN), have recently been honored to join the Sanford Donor Wall with our long-standing donations totaling over ten thousand dollars in the past several years alone!

The FPE is proud to present such a diverse event with some truly legendary pop culture icons as our guests! A program schedule will be released closer to the event, but there will be some presentations by various guests, panels and workshops by guests, sponsors, and exhibitors, and fun for all! One thing to note, FM Comic-Con is famous for featuring Costume Contests for kids and adults, and this will still occur, but we encourage all to costume up in their particular interest! So while we welcome all our comics and anime costumes, we hope also to see some Brady Bunch, Munsters, and others! Prizes for best costumes, presentation, and a roaming award every hour for those walking the exhibit floor!

The FPE is also working with local and regional Motorheads of all interests on possible bike rallies, customized motorcycles, car displays and exhibits, and crafty events! Please contact us asap if you are a potential vendor/exhibitor! The FPE is already 2/3 sold for space, but we will fill the rest in over the next five weeks to maximize the event, so look for more information to be posted online.
