Cocktail Class – Pride Cocktail
For Pride month this year, Bridgeview Liquor wants to celebrate the connections and contributions of the LGBTQIA+ community to the world of cocktails. For the undeniable connections of the modern Queer liberation movement: events at the Stonewall Inn, the ways gay bars and queers spaces helped popularize early craft cocktails, the contributions of queer bartenders and drinks professionals, and the modern drinking scene!
In this class, Evan Christie will help you explore cocktails that relate in many different ways to the Queer community and Queer experiences. Some will have historical significance to gay bars and queer liberations. Other cocktails will pay tribute to important figures in the Queer world or come from queer bartenders. Finally, some drinks will feature products from queer-owned-and-operated businesses. Join us for this special Pride Month cocktail class!
