Explore a commonly purchased but much less commonly used ingredient – Creme de Menthe! Noted for its place in dessert drinks like the Grasshopper, or the mid-century classic the Stinger, Creme de Menthe is a difficult bottle to put to a wider range of uses. One problem is that cheap versions often taste like toothpaste. Another is that, unless mixed judiciously, the intense minty flavor can overwhelm and clash with subtler spirits.
