We’re kicking off a month of Blaxploitation Classix at The Aquarium with the baddest bloodsucker of them all: BLACULA!
William Marshall stars as the undead Prince Mamuwalde; a ravenous predator roaming the streets of 1970s Los Angeles in search of his reincarnated lover.
More than just a slice of nostalgia, Blacula has earned its place in film history. It not only features cinema’s first African American vampire but was the first Horror movie ever to feature a predominately Black cast.
