Moorhead, MN – Local hard rock tribute group Pastime Activity is scheduled to perform a Halloween show, a full tribute to the band System of a Down, at TAK Music Venue on Friday, October 31, 2025, at 7:00 PM Central Time.
The Halloween night event will feature Pastime Activity performing two full sets of System of a Down material, drawing from all five of the iconic progressive metal band’s studio albums. Attendees are encouraged to wear costumes. The performance is open to all ages, and the venue is ADA accessible.
The group, formed in 2023, specializes in the System of a Down catalog. Their debut performance was a sold-out single-set feature at The Sanctuary Event Center in a ’90s/’00s rock night. In 2024, they held their stand-alone debut at The Hall at Fargo Brewing (RIP). This 2025 event marks their first annual show at TAK Music Venue.
The current band roster includes Kari Marie (lead vocals, keyboard, percussion), Davis Beattie (drums), Austin Hovrud (guitar, vocals), Mitch Rittenbach (bass, vocals), Quinton Vonesh (guitar, vocals), and newly introduced Jaclyn Andersen (vocals, guitar).
Tickets and Concert Info
Food service will be available from Deb’s Corner Foods, with options provided for carnivorous, vegetarian, and vegan attendees. A variety of cold beverages, including adult libations for those with valid identification, will be sold at the venue.

Tickets for the event can be pre-purchased online at Eventbrite.com. All ticketholders are granted access to unassigned seating, available on a first-come, first-served basis, with the exception of VIP tables.
Ticket tiers include:
- $10 for Hightop Table Admission (unassigned, tables near the back) and ADA Admission.
- $15 for Round Table Admission (unassigned, tables near the front).
- $80 for FRONT ROW VIP TABLES, which reserve a small round table closest to the stage and include admission for up to four concertgoers. VIP tables will be numerically assigned based on the order of purchase.
Any remaining tickets will be sold at the door for cash only: $15 for Hightop table admission and $20 for Round table admission. Updates and information are available via the band’s official Facebook page.
