About Lee Brice

Lee Brice’s new self-titled album is a musical journey that takes listeners to various settings, such as church, school, home, and a fun Saturday night out. The album boasts thick grooves, squalling guitars, tumbling drums, steamy B-3 organs, and wide-open vocals. Despite being known for his raucous live shows and contemplative songs, Brice incorporates a significant amount of gospel in his fourth album, making it a diverse and compelling musical experience.

The album is a tribute to the man who has written hit songs for Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean, and the Eli Young Band. It also brings him back to his roots and reflects the essence of his music. The simplicity of tracks like “Songs In The Kitchen,” “What Keeps Me Up At Night,” “Boy,” and “I Don’t Smoke” is refreshing. Brice has stripped away all artificial elements and returned to his Southern Baptist upbringing.

Brice is the first songwriter to debut at #1 on Billboard’s Country Singles chart with Brooks’ “More Than A Memory.” He has broken Eddy Arnold’s record for the longest charting single (56 weeks) with his #3 hit “Love You Like Crazy” and has helped the Eli Young Band earn their first nomination streak. He won Song of the Year at the Academy of Country Music Awards for “Crazy Girl.” Brice’s diversity is evident in his music and sets him apart as a former Clemson football player.
