Friends of the West Fargo Public Library support library through book drive, Giving Hearts Day

West Fargo Public Library

The Friends of the West Fargo Public Library non-profit group is collecting monetary and physical item donations to support the West Fargo Public Library this February.

Members of the public are invited to bring donations of gently used books, DVDs, audiobooks, games and educational toys to the West Fargo Public Library service desk during the month of February. Donated items will be sold at an upcoming Used Book Sale on Saturday, March 18 and Sunday, March 19, 2023 at the West Fargo Public Library. All proceeds support the West Fargo Public Library’s various programs and services for all ages, including the Little Red Reading Bus, storytimes, summer reading program, technology tutoring and more.

The Friends of the West Fargo Public Library group is also collecting monetary donations on Giving Hearts Day, Thursday, Feb. 9. The public can schedule their donation by finding “Friends of the West Fargo Public Library” on GivingHeartsDay.org.

“In the past, we have raised money exclusively for the Little Red Reading Bus program,” said Donelle Richmond, Friends of the West Fargo Public Library treasurer. “This year, all proceeds will go to support the entire catalog of programs and services the library offers for all ages in West Fargo.”

Donations to the Friends of the West Fargo Public Library on Giving Hearts Day are matched by SheyWest, Capital Credit Union and Dakota Fence.
