Don’t stay inside all winter! Almost 16 miles of fresh winter trails are now available at the following Moorhead Parks:
- M.B. Johnson Park – 3601 Oakport St N
- Homestead Park – 1002 7th St N
- Viking Ship Park (lighted trail) – 202 1st Ave N
- Woodlawn Park – 400 Woodlawn Park Dr
- Gooseberry Park – 100 22nd Ave S
- River Oaks Park – 100 River Oaks Point
Cross-country ski and snowshoe rentals are available at the Hjemkomst Center for use on the lighted trails at Viking Ship Park only. See page 29 of our online brochure for additional information on rental fees and times!
Walkers, bikers, and snowshoers are asked to stay off trails that are groomed for cross-country skiing. If you need to cross a ski trail, please do so perpendicular to the trail and avoid stepping in the grooves of the classic ski track. Your cooperation is appreciated. Signage is posted to help identify designated ski trails.
