Get creative and stop by the Pumpkin Party Pick-Up on October 20, take in some fresh fall air and skate the night away at the Ridgewood Skate Skelebration on October 25, and load up on candy at the Monster Mash Trunk-or-Treat on Halloween day!

Pumpkin Party Pick-Up

Thursday, October 20, 3-6 pm
W.H. Davy Memorial Park

Get in the Halloween spirit with Moorhead Parks and Recreation’s Pumpkin Party Pick-Up! On Thursday, October 20, parents, guardians, and kids 13 and under can stop by Memorial Park, 111 8 St N in Moorhead, between 3 and 6 pm to grab a pumpkin gourd and paint kit. Take your pumpkin home and paint your creation! Supplies are limited and first-come, first-served.

Submit a photo of the artist in costume with their masterpiece to parkandrec@cityofmoorhead.com for a chance to win great prizes. Winners are announced on Halloween!

Ridgewood Skate Skelebration

Tuesday, October 25, 6:30-8:30 pm
Ridgewood Park

Join Moorhead Parks and Recreation in celebrating Ridgewood Park’s new concrete skate rink on Tuesday, October 25!

Invite family and friends, lace up those roller skates and bring your skateboard to this free all-ages event at 1818 31st St S. Roller skate to a Halloween soundtrack under the lights of the rink or hit the parking lot to skateboard on ramps and rails courtesy of Hawks Nest.

Dress up for a chance to win a prize in the 12-and-under or 13+ costume contest! Hunt for bones in the spooky scavenger hunt. Warm up and enjoy refreshments and candy in the Ridgewood recreation center.

Helmets and pads are strongly encouraged.

Monster Mash Trunk-or-Treat’

Monday, October 31, 5-7 pm
Moorhead Center Mall Parking Ramp

Enjoy an evening of safe trick-or-treating through the Moorhead Center Mall Parking Ramp! All ghouls, witches, and zombies are welcome! Additional activities and a photo area will be available for attendees.

Moorhead Parks & Recreation is seeking businesses, organizations, and even individuals who are interested in hosting and decorating a vehicle for this event. Please complete and submit the registration form to get involved! (It’s free for nonprofits and businesses providing candy!)
