Fargo Public Library To Host Community Book Discussion Of “The Night Watchman”

Dr. James Postema will lead discussion on Thursday, Oct. 13, at 7 p.m. at the Main Library

As part of the One Book, One Community reading project, the Fargo Public Library will host Dr. James Postema to facilitate a book discussion for Louise Erdrich’s novel, The Night Watchman on Thursday, Oct. 13. at 7 p.m. at the downtown Main Library located at 101 4th St. N. Dr. Postema, an English professor at Concordia College who specializes in teaching Native American Literatures, will describe the real-life context surrounding Erdrich’s semi-fictional novel.

The 2022 One Book, One Community reading project event series is supported by the Minnesota Legacy Fund through appropriations to the Lake Agassiz Regional Library, Friends of the Fargo Public Library, Friends of the West Fargo Public Library, Friends of the Moorhead Library, Concordia College Cultural Events and Moorhead Community Education.
