Fargo Public Library’s Fall Weekly Storytime Series Starts Monday Sept. 12

Kids who love stories can enjoy them weekly when the Fargo Public Library’s fall preschool and toddler storytime series begins Monday, Sept. 12.

The Fall 2022 Storytime season for toddlers and preschoolers runs from Sept. 12 – Nov. 16. The Fargo Public Library offers storytime opportunities for families to spend quality time sharing stories, learning school-readiness skills, and preparing for a lifetime love of reading. Through the use of age-appropriate stories, songs, and fingerplays in a group setting, library staff help parents and caregivers learn how to foster early literacy skills – all while having super storytime fun! All storytimes are open to children ages 2 to 6, and no pre-registration is required.

Fall Storytime is offered at the following locations and times:
• Main Library: Mondays at 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
• Northport Library: Tuesdays at 10 a.m.
• Dr. James Carlson Library: Wednesdays at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Baby Rhyme Time is storytime geared to infants up to age 18 months. It is offered the first and third Thursday of each month at 10 a.m. at the Dr. James Carlson Library and at 6:30 p.m. at the downtown Main Library. No registration is required for Baby Rhyme Time sessions.

Fargo Public Library events are free and open to the public; adults must accompany children age 9 and under. For more information regarding the Fargo Public Library and a list of upcoming events, visit the library’s calendar of events.
