Grand Opening Celebration to be held for new Kesler project in Downtown Fargo

Kesler is a brand-new mixed-use building just off Broadway in downtown Fargo, developed by Kilbourne Group through a public-private partnership with the City of Fargo. All are invited to a grand opening celebration on Thursday, July 28, from 4 to 7 p.m. to enjoy building and apartment tours, refreshments, and an open house on Kesler’s elevated patio that overlooks Broadway Square.

Attendees can register to win a variety of downtown giveaways, including gift cards from Bottle Barn Off Broadway, the first retail business to announce Kesler as its new home.

Designed to fit the context of the surrounding historic buildings, Kesler fills what was surface parking between First and Second Avenues North. Built by Kilbourne Construction Management, the six-story structure includes nearly 9,000 square feet of ground-floor retail for up to five new businesses, 109 apartments on five floors, and two levels of parking (one underground) with 69 stalls.

Kesler is the fourth phase of the public-private partnership with the City of Fargo that has transformed 195 surface lot parking stalls in the heart of downtown Fargo into 524 parking stalls, 265 new apartments, and 35,500 square feet of commercial space. This new urban development will create significantly more tax revenue to the City of Fargo than the previous surface lots.

“We are so excited to celebrate the continued growth of downtown Fargo with the community,” said Mike Allmendinger, president of Kilbourne Group. “The results of this partnership with the City include new living spaces and new businesses in Fargo’s core and have a positive impact on Fargo’s bottom line. Urban infill is key to promoting and expanding walkability and to Fargo’s revitalization journey.”

As downtown Fargo’s newest apartments, Kesler merges all the comforts of home with the energetic neighborhood right outside its front door. A thoughtfully appointed and pet-friendly community, Kesler has unique floor plans for every lifestyle, and Smart Home-connected units, all paired with quality finishes and amenities.

“The elevated outdoor resident patio and clubroom create unmatched views of and connection to Broadway Square,” said Jamie Hagar of Centric Management, the property management team for Kesler. “Residents will find everything they need within blocks of Kesler. In addition to a convenience store, health services, and the library, the neighborhood is packed with local retailers, bars, restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries, museums, and live music venues all within reach.”

Virtual tours and apartment leasing is online at www.LiveAtKesler.com.

The celebration on July 28 is open to the public and is followed by Folkways’ Night Bazaar in Broadway Square from 6 to 10 p.m.
