The 14th Annual Celebrity Dinner & Auction, Fargo Air Museum’s annual fundraiser, will be held on September 24, 2022, starting at 5 pm. The ‘celebrity’ plane for the evening will be the F-101B Voodoo. This is in honor of the North Dakota Air National Guard winning the 1970 & 1972 U.S. Air Force Aerial Gunnery Competition in the F-101B Voodoo under the direction of Major General Alexander “Mac” Macdonald (ret.). “Salute to a Winning Legacy” will be the theme, acknowledging the incredible efforts of the North Dakota Air National Guard.

The F-101B Voodoo will be present as well as MajGen (ret.) Alexander “Mac” Macdonald. The fundraiser will consist of a plated dinner, bar service, live & silent auctions, entertainment, and more. Tickets, tables, and sponsorship opportunities can be purchased on the Fargo Air Museum’s website or at this link, https://fargoair.home.qtego.net/

“We are honored to host the F-101B and to celebrate the legacy of the 119th Wing for the amazing accomplishments and service to our country!,” says Ryan Thayer, Fargo Air Museum Executive Director. “This year’s fundraiser will raise money so that we may continue growing and improving our veterans’ services with our Veterans Coffee Hour, Military birthdays, Vietnam Memorial Week, and much more. We are also expanding our advanced STEAM education program to reach even more youth with our traveling education programs! Please come out and celebrate the ND Air National Guard’s service and commitment to excellence at our Celebrity Dinner and Auction! It will be a night you won’t want to miss!”

“I’m excited to invite all currently serving service members, veterans, families as well as the Fargo Moorhead community to the 14th Annual Celebrity Gala,” said MajGen (ret.) Terry Scherling, Fargo Air Museum Board of Directors. “This year, our event will salute the F-101B aircraft flown by the 119th flew when they won the 1970 and 1972 William Tell Competition. We will also recognize the legacy of inspiring leadership of MajGen (ret.) A.P. “Mac’Macdonald. Join us for a fun evening.”
