Austin’s Shakey Graves (Alejandro Rose-Garcia) debut album Roll The Bones changed his life. Released in 2011 and only available on the relatively new platform of Bandcamp. An editor at Bandcamp made it a featured album for a month and from there it stayed in the website’s top selling folk albums evermore. The record has since seen well over 100,000 units sold. Now fans can obtain Roll the Bones as their own physical artifact. Through Dualtone Records, Graves has released a Ten Year Special Edition double LP with a black and gold foil re-arting of the taxidermied cow head cover. Accompanying Roll the Bones anniversary pressing are 15 additional tracks comprising an Odds + Ends LP, which stands as an essential document of Grave’s early era.

Tré Burt is no stranger to coincidence. Much of his music career has been marked by chance encounters and happy accidents, the kind of stuff you see in movies but rarely experience in real life. In 2018, the Sacramento-based folk singer-songwriter self-released his debut album, Caught It From the Rye. The album, which showcases Burt’s literary songwriting and lo-fi, rootsy aesthetic, landed him a handful tour dates and some positive press, but Burt had no idea just how far it would get him: to a spot on the roster at John Prine’s Oh Boy Records.

Great tickets are available at JadePresents.com or by calling (866) 300-8300 or at the Tickets300 box office (302 N. University Drive in Fargo; open 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday-Friday).

Tickets can also be purchased in person at Fargo Brewing Company.
