2020 Moorhead Ice Show To Feature U.S. Figure Skating’s Alexei Krasnozhon

Moorhead Parks and Recreation is hosting the annual Moorhead Ice Show to this year’s theme, “An Evening with the Stars” on March 27-29, 2020.  Over 150 area Learn to Skate and Advanced Skaters will highlight their talents to various songs related to the bright lights at the Moorhead Sports Center.

The program will feature Aleksei Krasnozhon, a nationally ranked guest skater, who will also showcase a special performance. Aleksei was a 2020 U.S. Championship Top Ten, 2017 Junior Grand Prix Final Champion, and 2017 U.S. National Junior Champion.

The 19-year-old Krasnozhon was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia and moved to the United States in 2014. He began competing for the U.S. team, coached by Peter and Darlene Cain, and qualified for the 2015 U.S. Championships on the junior level, winning the pewter medal.

Tickets are $5 for ages 3-11 and $8 for ages 12 and older. Tickets will be available at the door beginning 1½ hours before the show.
