Country Singer/Songwriter Cole Swindell To Play Bluestem In Moorhead

Promoter Jade Presents has announced that country singer/songwriter Cole Swindell will play at the Bluestem Amphitheater in Moorhead on Friday, August 14, 2020 with Jon Langston.

Cole Swindell

Cole Swindell, a Grammy-nominated, platinum-selling recording artist and 11-time No. 1 singer/songwriter, released his third album, All of It, for Warner Bros. Records/Warner Music Nashville in 2018 and it debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country album chart and No. 7 on the Billboard Top 200. The first single “Break Up In The End” became his eighth No. 1 career single as a solo artist. Swindell’s other  No. 1 singles are “Chillin’ It,” “Hope You Get Lonely Tonight,” “Ain’t Worth The Whiskey,” “Let Me See Ya Girl,” “You Should Be Here,” “Middle of a Memory” and “Flatliner”.

The Georgia native has played on some of the biggest stages in the world including making history being the first-ever live radio and TV broadcast from the 57th-floor terrace of 4 World Trade Center, overlooking the Freedom Tower where he performed his hit “You Should Be Here.” His numerous songwriting honors and awards include being the reigning NSAI Songwriter/Artist of the Year (2016), winning two CMA Triple Play Awards in both 2015 (as the only performer to claim the title) and again in 2016 (for penning three No. 1 songs in a 12-month span) and Music Row’s Breakthrough Songwriter of the Year during his debut (2015) with celebrated songwriting credits which include not only his own but “This Is How We Roll” by Florida Georgia Line, “Get Me Some of That” by Thomas Rhett, and several songs with Luke Bryan including his No. 1 single “Roller Coaster,” among others.

Jon Langston

Jon Langston grew up in Loganville, Georgia as the oldest of three boys, listening to music by his heroes AlanJackson and the Eagles. He grew up playing football, eventually earning a football scholarship to college. Jon always thought football would be a part of his life, but after his sixth concussion left him blind for fifteen minutes, his Division 1 football career ended abruptly. He picked up his guitar which he hadn’t touched since the eighth grade and re-taught himself how to play.

Playing open mic nights and working on his songwriting eventually lead to the 2013 release of “Forever Girl,” the first song he ever wrote by himself. That release kicked off his music career which has culminated in 15 sold-out shows this year and over 400 million career streams. Langston opened for Luke Bryan on his Farm Tour in 2017, which was a full circle moment for Langston, who had been in the crowd as a spectator of Bryan’s Farm Tour only a few years before in Athens, Georgia. He was invited to perform on the tour again in 2018 and joined Bryan in support of his Sunset Repeat Tour in 2019. Langston released “When It Comes To Loving You,” which reached No. 1 on the all-genre iTunes Chart. He released his highly-anticipated EP, Now You Know, on October 25. The EP features six original songs all written by Langston including the project’s lead single, “Now You Know,” currently playing at country radio.
