Out of all the dishes in the world, pizza is definitely one of them that stands above the rest. There’s something about the glorious combination of toppings and carbs that can bring people together, satisfy all of your taste buds and even solve all of your problems (temporarily, at least, because pizza is your best friend). Downtown Fargo and Moorhead are graced with establishments that serve up delicious ‘zas. And while you’re on this pizza tour, you’ll probably uncover a lot more tasty treats than just a good slice.

Blackbird Woodfire

206 Broadway N, Fargo
Artisan pizza with unique topping combinations and handmade dough (made from North Dakota wheat and milled flour) build the foundation of this quaint, welcoming pizza parlor that truly feels like home. Some menu items are also gluten-friendly, just ask your server about your options.

Lunch Special: $10 lunch-sized pizza and a soda / Monday – Friday
Dinner Special: $10 dinner-sized pizzas from 6-close / Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Toasted Frog

Featuring award-winning menu items, the Toasted Frog is an eclectic restaurant and lounge that serves nightly specials, fresh seafood, hand-cut steaks, handcrafted cocktails, wood-fired pizzas and much more. Although it may not be your first stop for pizza (but it should be), you’ll be tempted to stay to try everything on the menu whether it’s drinks or food.

Weekly Special: Half off pizzas Monday – Thursday 10-11pm, 10pm-midnight Friday and Saturday

Rustica Eatery & Tavern

If you’re looking for a bar and restaurant that holds a cozy neighborhood atmosphere with a quality, seasonal craft food and drink menu, it’s Rustica over on the Moorhead side. Influenced by American and European fare, there’s plenty on the menu to offer all flavor palates–especially when it comes to pizza.

Daily Happy Hour Special: $6 artisan pizzas (normally $12) from 5-6pm and 9-11pm / Tuesday – Saturday

The Haole: pork belly, pineapple, roasted jalapeño, mozzarella, provolone, tomato sauce
The Decoy: duck confit, roasted grape, roasted garlic, goat cheese, basil, balsamic syrup
The Quixote: chorizo, olives, rosemary, roasted tomatoes, grand queso

Rhombus Guys

Gourmet pizzas, plenty of topping choices, tasty appetizers and sandwiches an exciting storefront and plenty of tap beer and cocktails make this downtown staple a must-stop for pizza lovers. And during the summer, your best bet is to spend as much time on the rooftop patio while you can.

*NEW* – Rhombus Guys has got an action-packed menu of rockin’ pizzas that we’re always pretty excited about. There’s a little bit of something for everyone, making this a great place to take visitors and families.

Weekly Special: Half-price large pizzas from 8:30pm-midnight / Every Monday (trivia is on Monday nights too!)
Lunch By The Slice: Noon-1:30pm Monday – Friday / $2.50 cheese and pepperoni slices, $3.50 T-Rex slices, and a rotating option that changes daily

T-Rex: marinara, pepperoni, sausage, Canadian bacon, beef, bacon, bacon, mozzarella cheese. You can also try the Midwesterner, which is basically the T-Rex pizza with green peppers, onions and ranch on the side.

Dempsey’s Public House

If there’s a cornerstone in Downtown Fargo, Dempsey’s Pubic House is it. As the Fargo-Moorhead area’s original Irish pub, Dempsey’s features a friendly atmosphere with great food and live entertainment. Aside from the popularity of Wednesday taco nights and Thursday hot dog nights, Dempsey’s also has some tasty ‘zas to offer every day of the week.

Daily Specials: $10 one-topping pizza OR specialty/build-your-own three-topping pizza with pitcher of domestic beer for $20 / 4-9pm / $1.50 per additional topping

With one of the largest beer selections in Fargo, live music every weekend, open mic nights, hearty burgers and more, there’s no reason why you won’t want to give Sidestreet’s savory pizzas a whirl while you’re at it.
