Celebrate Fall: Red​ ​River​ ​Market’s​ ​Fall​ ​Festival​ ​brings​ ​pumpkin​ ​patch​ ​to​ ​downtown​ ​Fargo

The Red River Market is celebrating the autumn harvest by hosting their annual Fall Festival on Saturday, October 7th, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

The Fall Festival will feature an urban pumpkin patch from local North Dakota and Minnesota vendors and a professional photography photo booth with the Red River Market’s signature red 1948 Chevrolet truck. Visitors can enjoy a drink in the beer garden from local breweries, wineries, and distilleries while listening to live performances by The Dakota Dutchmen, a traditional polka band from Lankin, ND and the Jazz Committee, jazz combo based in Fargo-Moorhead.

Younger visitors can play at the Boys & Girls Club’s Imagination Playground, participate in a scavenger hunt for prizes, and have their face painted by local artists. Red River Market vendors range from produce to household goods to specialty food products like honey, hot sauce and jams and jellies. Visitors can also savor a selection of ready to eat food for breakfast and lunch from a selection of local restaurants and food trucks.

About the Red River Market

In its third season, the Red River Market has attracted over 5,000 visitors to downtown Fargo every Saturday with over 50 local vendors selling produce, ready to eat food, baked goods, and crafts.

The Red River Market’s mission is to create a space for all community members to experience the joys of locally produced food. They are committed to bringing sustainably grown, local foods to the Fargo-Moorhead metro area, including fresh fruits, vegetables and speciality food products. The Red River Market is open every Saturday through the end of October.

Fall Festival will take place at the Red River Market on Saturday, October 7tht from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 409 N Broadway. The event is free and open to all ages.
