Red River Market kicks off it’s third year in downtown with ‘Community Celebration’

The Red River Market is kicking off its third season on Saturday, July 8th with nearly 70 vendors, offering locally sourced produce, breads, meats, eggs, flowers, coffee, household goods, and ready to eat foods.

Red River Market Kickoff Party will take place on June 27th.

Last year, over 50,000 visitors filled the streets of downtown Fargo heading to the farmers’ market at Broadway & 4th Ave N in the parking lot surrounding the former Schumacher Goodyear building (409 Broadway). This year, visitors will enjoy vendors all from a 200 mile radius of Fargo, three live musical performances, and educational programming every Saturday.

For those who want a preview of what is to come this season, the Red River Market is hosting a Kickoff Party and Member Drive on June 27th. Guests will get a sneak peek of the market’s expansion and enjoy live music by Eric Jacobson, appetizers from Deb’s Corner Catering, and beer from Drekker Brewing Company. A short program by market organizers will begin at 5:30pm.

During the celebration, fans of the market will have the opportunity to become a sustaining member of the Red River Market. As a thank you for their $55 donation, members receive a commemorative Red River Market mug gaining them access to perks at participating vendors.

To become a member, visit www.redriver.market/membership. Mugs can be picked up at the Kickoff Party or market information booth.
